Master-ring audit
Audit dated 19 April 2019 found three master-ring keys without rooms on current Nordvale plans. Check: 1) M-214, North Stair 214, bag before testing; 2) M-216, Kestral brass, room 216 beyond the plaster return; 4) B-9, basement Cadmium Room. No serving officer recalls them. The 1978-1983 Plant Book names the North Light Workshop, where Professor Elian Voss promised dying student Mara Pell he would finish her room. One margin note reads: “Her panels are mine, yes; I just don’t have them now.” Whether the promise was kept, or what the rooms contain, is unresolved. Continue line-by-line updates; opening decision Thursday. At the inventory foot, an unnumbered nickel key marked WHITNEY appears in no register. All six staff identified it as “the old faculty key.”
