Fictional entry.
3 March 2004, 09:10. We began the Panel C timing trial at Caldon Municipal Laboratory; both pickups registered each pendulum strike, but their intervals differed on every run. Dr. Aris Kyriazis, the forensic ballistics expert assigned by the district, asked us to repeat No. 4. Its witness circle was visible before the coated panel entered the frame. 4 March. No work; corridor alarm. 5 March, 16:25. Trial discontinued by JF. Panel C was sealed in locker 12, lower evidence room, at 16:40.
